Edit
Car headlights were important parts from a car. It function
as your eyes guide when you driving at night and become a signs for other vehicles
when you going to past them. What would it be if your headlight doesn’t
function as it should be and having the lights too fades? Well, we were here to
give you some tips to choose the right lights for your headlights.
Choose the right light bulbs watt power
Choose the bulbs with the same power as the car manufacture
bulbs you use before. This step is to make sure your headlamp (especially the
plastic materials) would be in good conditions after you replace the bulbs.
Bigger power on the bulbs could make the temperatures in the headlamp raise,
the often signs is the colors were getting yellowish than before with a hotter
headlamp.
Bigger power car light bulbs demand bigger wires as the
electricity distributions. If you use ordinary wires then the bigger possibility
you would have overheat wires and short circuits problem.
Choose Neutral colors
You would find aftermarket car light bubs with yellow, white
or blue color. You could see from the label attach to the bulbs, specs and
Kelvin number on it. Higher the Kelvin number means the light bulbs result more
white-bluish lights.
The problem is you wouldn’t able to see clearly when the
weather rains if you use this kind of car light bulbs. You would be lucky to
use yellowish light bulbs type because you aren’t only could see in the rains
but you were also could see through the fogs. The disadvantage of the yellowish
lights is you will annoyed another driver in front of you when you use it in a
normal weather.
To get the best lights result in rain, fogs or any weather
you could pick car light bulbs with 4000 – 5000 Kelvin range number on the
specs.
Watch the car electricity grounds (grounding)
Changing your headlamp to get better lights with bigger
power light bulbs are true facts. But it wouldn’t be optimum because the
grounding (negative electricity to the bulbs) especially if the wires were more
than 5 years old. It would be suggested to replace the wires with the new one
that already have the relay on the package.
Watch the rubber cover on the headlamp
If you keep it you would get fungus and make your headlamp
dirtier and harder to clean.
